MICHELLE MARIE
Hi! I'm Michelle, a professional muralist & artist, and the face behind Art By Michelle Marie LLC. Although I've been an artist my whole life, when it was time to decide on a career path, I chose to become a teacher. After receiving my Masters degree and teaching at the elementary level for a couple of years, I realized my true passion has always been within the arts. At the end of 2021, I took a leap of faith and transitioned from my career as a teacher to start my journey as a full time business owner & artist!
Throughout college, I worked professionally creating hand-lettered chalkboards as sign artist for a large retail chain. My love for creating bright, bold, large-scale work has since evolved into what I specialize in today. These days you can find me designing and painting murals for businesses and residential homes, as well as painting seasonal window splashes year round for storefronts all over Long Island.
In addition to the mural portion of my business, I also run an online art shop right here! I started my shop in the beginning of 2022 with just a few sticker designs and art prints. Today, we sell a variety of stationery goodies, drinkware, screenprinted apparel, totes, accessories, kitchenware & more-- all featuring my original designs.
